These terms and conditions apply to purchases made on this web site from Oztent Australia Pty Ltd ABN. 19050035964.
Each order is governed by the terms and conditions current at the time the order is placed. Oztent Australia Pty Ltd may alter, add to or delete from these terms and conditions without notice. You are advised to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.
Orders
All orders placed through this web site are accepted subject to confirmation by Oztent Australia Pty Ltd. Where the goods are either no longer available, or not currently available you will be notified by Oztent Australia Pty Ltd as soon as possible.
Oztent Australia Pty Ltd may vary prices in the event of either price changes or errors made by suppliers. If Oztent Australia Pty Ltd requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Oztent Australia Pty Ltd prior to shipment of the equipment. Equipment will not be shipped for seven (7) days if we have notified you by email and not received a response; equipment will be shipped the morning of the arranged delivery day if we contact you by telephone.
Oztent Australia Pty Ltd aims to display up-to-date pictures from the manufacturer of all of the goods on this web site. However, our picture of the goods may differ from the actual goods. We recommend you read the labels on the goods carefully before using the goods.
Oztent Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to restrict sales to retail quantities when supplying resellers or distributors.
Delivery
Delivery will be made to the address specified in the order on the date requested. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by Oztent Australia Pty Ltd to be authorised to receive the goods. If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive the order, Oztent Australia Pty Ltd may charge you additional delivery fees unless we were provided instructions to leave the equipment at a specific location.
Once the goods are delivered to you, or an authorised representative, you will own them and it is your responsibility if they become lost or damaged.
If the goods were not paid for through the web site and no-one is at home to pay for the shipment, under no circumstances will the goods be left. Oztent Australia Pty Ltd may charge you additional delivery fees for subsequent delivery.
Complaints must be made, within 4 business days of delivery, to the Oztent Australia Pty Ltd head office, either by telephone, email or fax.
GST
The prices displayed on this website include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). This Oztent website has been intended for use by Australian residents only. If you are wishing to place an order to an address outside of Australia please contact us at sales@oztent.com
Payment
Payment may be made through the payment section of this web site, or at the time of demonstration for customers within the Oztent Australia Pty Ltd shop. Methods of payment acceptable before delivery are restricted to:
* EFTPOS payment through Bankcard, Visa, MasterCard or American Express
* Bank cheque payable to Oztent Australia Pty Ltd
* Cash for personal shoppers only. (DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL)
Payment upon delivery is not available at this time for customers outside the Oztent Australia Pty Ltd shop.
Returns & Refunds
Any goods provided which do not match the description and specification on our web site may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange for the specified item with a price adjustment where the exchanged item differs in price from the item supplied.
Any goods which fail during the manufacturers warranty period may be returned for replacement or repair according to the manufacturers warranty terms. Oztent Australia Pty Ltd will endeavour to provide a loan replacement during the period the manufacturer restores the goods under warranty.
Where goods supplied are in no way defective but the purchaser decides that they no longer want the item, nor any substitute, consideration will be given on a case by case basis of an appropriate refund.
Privacy
Oztent Australia Pty Ltd will not reveal your personal information to external organisations except for the purposes of fulfilling your order, unless you have indicated that this information may be passed to other parties.
Liability
Any liability of Oztent Australia Pty Ltd in connection with goods or services supplied to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of Oztent Australia Pty Ltd be limited to:
i. in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and
ii. in relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Applicable Law
All purchases under this web site and these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Oztent Australia Pty Limited Warranty Policy (Important - Registration Required)
The manufacturer’s warranty will only be valid if your product purchase is registered with Oztent Australia Pty Ltd (Oztent). To register, complete the warranty card (click to download) and return it to us, along with a copy of your receipt, at the address below within 14 days of purchase. If you have purchased more than one item, you may register them on the same card but you will need to provide a receipt for each product.
Oztent will confirm receipt within 14 days and issue a Customer Registration Number. If you have not received your Customer Registration Number within 14 days please phone us to confirm we have received your registration. This manufacturer’s warranty will not be valid if your product is not registered.

Oztent Australia Pty Ltd (Oztent) will repair or replace any registered Oztent product if that product requires repair due to a manufacturing or materials defect (such as water leaks, faulty stitching, delamination, faulty zips, faulty fittings or faulty material) appearing and notified to Oztent within the following warranty periods:
Furniture - 5 years from date of purchase
Tents & Awnings - 2 years from date of purchase
Any other product - 1 year from date of purchase
Exclusions. The manufacturer’s warranty is limited to manufacturing or materials defects. This does not include damage caused by wear and tear, condensation, dragging, abuse or misuse, accidents, falling objects, improper set up, burn holes, extreme weather or damage caused by insects, animals or children.
How to make a claim. To make a claim on the manufacturer’s warranty please return your product to Oztent at the address below. You must provide your Customer Registration Number with the product. If you purchased the product less than 14 days ago, or you have lost you Customer Reference Number, please telephone Oztent between Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (Sydney time). All transport costs related to returning the product for assessment or repair under the manufacturer’s warranty is payable by the customer.
Other rights. The benefits given by the manufacturer’s warranty are additional to other rights and remedies that you may have under law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
